very troublesome. unless they are approved and dealerships are importing en masse and selling them, importing unique e-bikes on your own poses homologation, lab tests, type acceptance and approval cost and issues. and after spending $169k on fees and spare bikes for various type approval tests and litany of inspections, the whole shebang and entire enchilada may not pass.
