world's smelliest flower opens.....

just in time for sg50. it's a great omen for the pap. stinking like a long dead corpse, one of the world's biggest and smelliest flower opens at the berkeley botanical gardens today to much fanfare after years of lying in wait as a bud. it follows sg's election cycle and opens for pollination only for half a day and then goes into "hibernation" for the next 4-5 years.

for 4 to 5 years, it stays as a bud, unopened. this was just yesterday. as you can see, it attracted many young chicks. it's also a powerful phallic symbol.

avid photographers waited days and nights for the moment when the flower started blooming. by the way the flower is lovingly called trudy.

may the pap win big as this stinking flower has kindly woken up on time to grace sg50 and the upcumming erection (no pun intended).
