There are enough resources on this planet to sufficiently feed, clothe and provide some comforts of life for every person. The reason this has not become so is because of greed and selfishness of many. In order for some to become rich, some others are denied a share of these. Obviously the haves will be quick to label the have-nots as lazy and stupid, but seriously, there is still enough for all.
World poverty has been addressed by many people and organizatios. The UN has been one of them. Many of their officials at their HQ in New York City indulge in fine dining, don fine clothes, and attend theatre shows at the Big Apple. Perhaps the HQ of UN should be based in the poorest countries in the world, and relocated to another one every five years.
