Unless Asian teams can prove themselves at the world stage then FIFA can
allocate them with more slots, it has increase by 1/2 place over the years.

China 'qualified' because South Korea and Japan were co-hosts, easing the competition. Host countries automatically qualify (e.g. South Africa in 2010) and they need not play qualifying matches.

Also, China was easily the worst country in WC2002. The Tiongs only knew how to do rugby style lunging tackles from behind. Football skill and IQ were zero.

If you have to let an Asian commie country take part, let North Korea take the slot. At least North Korea was entertaining.
