World Cup 2026 Semi Final: Spain Vs France. Who will win?

Espanol odds good to steal. I find worth to bet. Almost same strength, Spain more technical and France has more physical and also have technical players, only France slightly better and favorite.

Lucky France. If not offside, it's 3:0.
France very very poor.

France looks like gone already. Something very wrong with them tonight playing like so constipated with poor passing and hardly able to move past 3/4 field lol.
Whereas Spain played extremely fluid skillful football like previous samba Brazil.

Saliba injured, France defending is now shit.

Remember how Arsenal's backline was before Saliba was there?

France is really very poor today. Very very poor. Switch off my TV. KNN.

France now then suddenly start to play more fluid with quicker pass..too late already lol.

France played poorly because Spain’s elite counter-press completely suffocated their midfield, while Didier Deschamps’ highly conservative tactical approach backfired after conceding an early penalty. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Spain essentially "parked" France in their own half by executing three specific tactical strategies: [1]

1. Spain's Suffocating Counter-Press
The main reason France could not get past the 3/4 field line was Spain's immediate defensive transition. On average, Spain won the ball back less than 12 seconds after losing it. The moment Adrien Rabiot, Aurélien Tchouaméni, or the fullbacks recovered the ball, Rodri, Pedri, and Spain's forwards swarmed them. This relentless pressure forced errant, panicked, and poor passes. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

2. Disastrous Distribution from the Back
France routinely shot themselves in the foot trying to build out from defense. Goalkeeper Mike Maignan put his defenders under immense pressure with highly inaccurate distribution. One terrible ball out from Maignan directly gifted Spain a transition opportunity that nearly resulted in a second Spanish goal. With the passing lanes down the flanks cleanly cut off, France looked entirely out of sync. [1, 2]

3. Deschamps' Extreme Conservatism Backfired
France setup to defend deep and explode using the transition pace of Kylian Mbappé and Ousmane Dembélé. However, after Lucas Digne clumsily conceded a penalty that Mikel Oyarzabal converted in the 22nd minute, France was forced to chase the game. Because they are used to playing defensively, they struggled heavily to pivot into a dominant, possession-based style. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

4. Midfield Overload and the Saliba Injury
Spain perfectly exploited the space between France's lines. Dani Olmo and Lamine Yamal regularly overloaded the central areas, pulling France's midfielders out of position. France's structure disintegrated further when star center-back William Saliba was forced off with an injury midway through the half, leaving the backline deeply unsettled. [1, 2, 3]
