How did this happen? Someone left the National flag in the swamps

In his drunken stupor, this man inconsiderately occupied four seats on a bus so that he could stretch out and sleep.

STOMPer manofsteel, who was travelling on the same bus, says:

"This man who was drunk boarded bus service 65 at midnight.

"He reeked of alcohol.

"Much to the disgust of the other commuters, he slumped down on the seats and slept.

"He occupied all the four seats.

"Furthermore, his dirty shoes were on the seats."

STOMPer wee wee saw this man lying down on a bench at Yio Chu Kang MRT station. The STOMPer says the man, who appears to be a Chinese national, was behaving as if he were at home.

The STOMPer writes (Aug 21):

"This Chinese national treats Yio Chu Kang MRT like his home.

"I feel it's a disguising act."

STOMPer Pink was peeved that this foreigner was blatantly flouting rules by drinking inside Promenade MRT station and that no SMRT personnel stopped him.

The STOMPer said:

"This man was seen drinking at Promenade MRT station!

"Even after an announcement was made that no eating and drinking is allowed in the station, he continued to drink!

"I'm sure that if Singaporeans were to drink, we would already be summoned!

"Double standards?"

STOMPer Wong Xin Jie believes that SMRT has the right to enforce their 'no eating and drinking' policy onboard trains. Wong was disgusted at the sight of bread crumbs and drink spills. He wonders what tourists thinks of Singapore after seeing this.

Said the STOMPer:

"I truely believe that the SMRT has reasons for putting the 'no eating and drinking' signs up.

"As you can see from the pictures, these actually look quite unpleasant. At least for me.

"The clean and green image of Singapore will be tarnished if tourist are affected by these sights.

"Can we still be the proud citizens of a 'Clean and Green Country' after this?"
