For most of us, work is an unavoidable necessity since it is our daily bread and butter until retirement. However, the thought of going to work fills many of us with dread. Most jobs aren't totally terrible, even though we may have troublesome colleagues and demanding bosses. What really bothers most of us is the relentless 8.30 am to 6 pm, 5-day-week grind, doing the same routine with no end in sight until retirement.
This feeling hits many of us every Sunday afternoon, and the dread repeats each weekday morning which is a serious case of the Monday Blues. Spending 9 hours a day completing tasks for others in exchange for money to cover family needs, hobbies. travel and bills just seems like too much of our time to sacrifice.
Whether we jump out of bed for work or we're stuck in this cycle of dread, what beyond the monthly salary, truly keep us going? Please share your stories here.
