not surprised that ecuador with a majority latino and mixed andean native population has 8 niggers in their starting lineup. i was there in the 90s and visited a town called esmeralda by the pacific coast. there was a shipwreck off the coastal town and the ship were carrying male and female african slaves. many survived and waded to shore, establishing a slave colony. they became free after independence from spain and mainly confine themselves to the equatorial coast. although as a tiny fraction of the entire population they dominate team sports in ecuador and lopsidedly contribute to the national football team.
