"ponding" was truly sensational and best reflects the depths to which the PAP and this Govt have descended. It shows lack of integrity and more importantly desperation.

"taken out of context" is another regular

"confluence of factors" is not a word and it did not occur in 2011 but came out after the "independent inquiry" on Mas Selmat escape. It suggest that on the day of the escape " there was an eclipse, a flash flood which allowed him to jump on a passing sampan that and rowed himself out of the detention centre without people noticing anything in the dark.

It shows that once turned to desperation prior to poll date, politicians exhibits their rare talents of versatility with the uncanny ability to bend to the wind direction. But in conformity to the laws of elasticity, they will spring back straight anytime after the poll.

The other that I go for is 'a little bit', by DMP Teo in May when he hinted on the possible outcome from the ministerial pay review committee. Gosh, he really has foresight.
