The moment he accepted that "Emeritus' title, need we say more about this panjang?

GRC maker is political. He is wife of peanut maker and also threatened hawker who does not want to vote for him. Why talk about swiss standards when we have no snow?

what the heck does he mean by too one sided when his PAP comrades were also one sided

Fuckers like these white scums are always like that.

When Yaw was caught two timing they took every advanatage to blow it up and maligned the WP as well.

When Palmer was caught too, they ordered the press to paint him as a 'honorable' man!

I guess if a young schooling boy were to ask you to explain the two incidents, which are the same and why did their pappy gov made it look different.

You will need to pass the question back to woody goh to answer!

The Govt all along has been one sided...

I take...u give....the govt always on the taking side..( look 7 rounds of cooling measures for the property mkt, did they even once make a concession and give back some to the first-timer Singaporean buying their first property)
...
success..govt one sided view is..... u owe it to me...( follow the grand patriach notion that he singlely build up the nation to what it is today and the reserves are all his fruits of success)

Parliament...many of their lap-dogs licking the same master foot...is"nt that one sided..??

Exactly look at their behaviour in parliament

The school boy would get 100% and Wooden would fail the test

He should just shut up now, and there may still be a few people who remember him as being a little kind and humerous at times.

He still didnt get it becos he's a wood block. What the people need is an emotional connect, not another deadpan dead loss white paper or Ministerial edict.

He still dont see it. All saw dust between the ears.

He could afford to be kind and humerous as he played office holder clown and seat warmer becos he knows his time is limited.

He knows he does not 'hold the real key' to the wealth and he is just the same as the few hundreds high paying cronies, that is in for the money ride.

At your expense!

...The Malays learned to accept the situation and move on. So too should the current generation.

LordElrond offers his perspective: The Malays "accepted the situation and moved on" because there was no democratic election in those days. They couldn't elect their sultans. Most of the Malays here miss the old days and would very much prefer Singapura reverts to the laid-back fishing village life-style... a utopia hidden away from the gunfires of the evil westerners. Up till this day they still claim the land as theirs being "bumiputra". The "bumiputra" issue is still being constantly used as a political tool in Malaysia because they hold the power, but in Singapore they are powerless and could only be courier boys, pizza delivery boys, or Speaker of Parliament.

Compare that to New Zealand. The country remained the most beautiful place on earth for centuries. Yes they had nothing but sheeps, but with a place like this do you need anything? It was a perfect place to live, a heaven on earth... until the government let in Chinks who could not speak a word of English, fugitives and porn paddlers.

Let's look at history. How did the rightful inhabitants react to immigrants/invasions, and what were their fate? Lessons can be drawn.

The Maoris, the Malays, the Alisans of Taiwan - all of whom reluctantly accepted or fooled into acceptance of immigrants - live to see their land invaded by aliens. The red indians' fate were even worse - they got exterminated.

There is only one way to fight for your own rights, like the way we do in preserving our status in middle-earth.

FIGHT. KILL. WHATEVER IT TAKES... for your own survival.

"I am happy that Speakers' Corner is serving its purpose. Also pleased that Singaporeans are debating this population issue because it is about our future. But our future goes just beyond population figures. Cannot say that I think much of the speakers' rhetoric. Too political, too one-sided, appealing to emotions only and not shedding light on important issues."[/QUOTE

Maybe Woody should have turned up and showed us his rhetorical skills. If this was a debate, it was up to him and his ilk to present the other side. I think Gilbert would have been more than happy to have him there. If 6.9 million is the right way to go, the white paper did not show it. That's why people were at Hong Lim Park. They were there for something important to them.

Hello twit,

Your new currency note spooks the hell out of the faint-hearted! Looks like Hell Notes !:D

You are being kind. I can think of worse things than saw dust between his ears. The guy is a phenomenon - scientists should chope his brain for research at the appropriate time in the future.
