Women stare just as much as men

Men aren’t the only ones guilty of staring at women’s boobs. Turns out women are just as bad.

According to a new US study, women stare at other women’s boobs for the same amount of time as men.
The study, published in the journal Sex Roles by the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, tested what areas of a woman’s body – the boobs, butt or hips - would attract the most gaze.
Each body part was enhanced to create a curvaceous look. The study participants, 29 female and 36 male college students, were then asked to rate the women in the photos on personality and appearance.
Psychologists Sarah Gervais and Michael Dodd found that the images showing big boobs, small waistlines and big hips got the longest looks. And men rated the curvier women more positively.
“We do have a slightly different pattern for men than women, but when we looked at their overall dwell times – how long they focused on each body part – we find the exact same effects on both groups,” Gravis said in a statement.
“Women, we think, do it often for social comparison purposes.”
