The Women's Charter is a punishment for Singaporean men who made the wrong decision.
Our society still has this old fashion assumption that women is the weaker sex.
This is totally not true.
This Women Charter has been abused. Instead of protecting women, it has been used by women to bankrupt men when things get ugly.
I'm no advocating that guys shouldn't take care of women but not to the extent of hurting yourself financially so hard that sometimes in certain cases the next woman has to help the husband to full part of the alimony expenses.
