Woman threatened to jump when husband took her handphone

MALAYSIA - A woman was so attached to her mobile phone that she threatened to jump from the third floor of her apartment when her husband forcibly took it from her, reported Sinar Harian.

The paper said the 20-year-old victim's attempt to jump was seen by other residents in the incident at 11am in Damansara Damai two days ago.

A source told the paper that the residents took 15 minutes to calm the woman, whose leg was already hanging out of the window as her year-old child was heard crying.

The victim's husband had reportedly left the house when he failed to console his wife.

Police later arrested the woman and took her to the police station, where she lodged a report against her husband.
