All my male friends how are married tell me offen they are envy on my lifestyle and I see most of them are misreble but stay for the kids. Same I 40 my ex left then when I bought a house all the sudden she wanted to work things out I knew what was happening been single ever since play me video games watch what I want i can still get a load off when I want from few girls without dating them have a cleaner that comes cleans me house also have more money and can buy whatever i want I can do what I want in peace i been single for 12 years now

I am divorced since 8 years in my early 40s. Dated for a few years after that and after a few months all started over again. All the things you mentioned. Then i thought to myself. Why should i do that to myself again? I am living the best live ever for a few years now. My money, my house, my hobbies and no nagging or anything. So sad to say but: No woman, no cry! Someone mentioned somewhere: Women are like Tetris, everything you do right disappears and everything you do wrong stays. So true.

In English, we use the word "since" with a date. Ie, "I have been divorced since 1998" or "since I was 36 years old."In German, the term "seit" is usual my translated as "since," but its used the way you used "since" here. Ie, "seit vier Jahren..."
