KUALA LUMPUR - A woman in Kuala Lumpur hit her husband with a stone mortar when he refused to buy Raya clothes for her, reported China Press.
The woman, in her 30s, had asked her husband to accompany her to buy new clothes on Friday night.
The man, however, urged her to save money by wearing old clothes for Hari Raya.
As the couple was quarrelling, the woman went into the kitchen to pick up the stone mortar and hit her husband on the head.
The husband then ran out of the house before seeking treatment at a hospital, where he received three stitches.
He subsequently lodged a police report.
