There is a huge difference between the way S'pore and Malaysia treat bumiputras. In S'pore, there are no restrictions to hardworking and intelligent bumis progressing. In Malaysia, non-bumis are systematically discriminated against. Even the selected former President of S'pore was an Indian/Malay woman who was not even elected by the people.
