A woman was charged on Tuesday with cheating a Chinese national of $10,000.

Lee Mooi Hoon, 57, allegedly duped Mr Chai Jin into believing that he needed to donate $10,000 to Ngee Ann Primary School in return for his child's admission into the school, and dishonestly induced him to hand over the money to her sometime in July 2009.

Lee will appear in court again on March 5. The maximum penalty for cheating is seven years' jail and a fine.

Way the hell is this? Never say what was the role of the woman with the school? No head no tail again?
