Woman charged with stealing laptop at Changi Airport

SINGAPORE: A woman was on Monday charged with stealing a laptop at Changi Airport.

Devon Nguyen, 35, allegedly committed the offence in January this year at the departure transit area of Changi Airport Terminal 2.

The Dell laptop, belonging to Maria Teresa Padua Portillo, was valued at S$900.

Nguyen's case will be mentioned again on 19 August.

If found guilty, she faces a jail term of up to two years and a fine. - CNA/xq
