SINGAPORE: A woman who allegedly created a ruckus after her friend was denied entry into a restaurant in Little India has been charged with behaving in a disorderly manner.

40-year-old R Angelina is accused of shouting at the top of her voice and gesticulating with her arms on 22 February this year, shortly after 4pm.

She had brought her friend to the restaurant located at Desker Road but was denied entry.

Under the Miscellaneous Offences (Public Order and Nuisance) Act, anyone found guilty can be jailed up to a month or fined S$1,000. - CNA/xq
