Winnie Teo Weini, 28, would disappear with items from the houses she rented.
The cheque she issued for the deposit and rentals would also bounce.
Teo pleaded guilty yesterday to 24 cheating charges, four counts of theft and 14 counts of assisting loansharks.
For letting them use her bank accounts and helping them transfer money, Teo received $500 a month. She was arrested in May last year.
It was then she opened an account with Standard Chartered Bank with a $1 deposit in May last year and received a cheque book.
She would issue the cheques for rental payments and stay in the apartment for a few days. On one occasion, she left with a television set valued at $500. She sold it to a rag-and-bone man for $200.
She will be sentenced next Tuesday.
