3-year-old McNugget sold for $10,000

An American woman has sold a three-year-old McDonald's Chicken McNugget that resembles President George Washington for US$8,100 (S$10,000) on eBay.
Rebekah Speight of Dakota City said she found it while clearing the uneaten portion of her kids' meals after they hit the play area at an McDonald's outlet in Sioux City.
Bidding ended just after 11.30am on Monday but Speight refused to say where the winning bidder is from.
"Once we receive payment, we'll ship it," Speight said.
The nugget has been kept in Speight's freezer for about three years. She said she'll ship it with dry ice to preserve it.
She's still surprised by the international media attention the frozen piece of meat had attracted.
"There are stories from Australia, the United Kingdom, Pakistan - just all over," Speight told the media.
The eBay auction garnered 44,795 views, and 1,610 people were actively monitoring it, she said.
Speight had said she planned to use the money to help send 50 children from Sioux City Family Worship Center to a summer camp in Dayton, Iowa.
