世真正的高手,是能,而不一定要,有人的胸襟;
One Chinese Emperor in the olden days was a very good Chess Player. He bet all his subordinates in his court. One day he went out from his palace to the countryside as an ordinary man (not wearing his Emperor’s outfit) and came across a hut with a sign saying that the owner of the hut is the best Chess Player in the world. He went in and had 3 games with the owner and he won all 3 games. So he told the person to take down his sign and he left triumphantly.
When he came back from a winning battle, he passed by the hut and saw the sign was still hanging up there. He went in and had another 3 games with the owner. But this time he lost all 3 games. He was puzzled and asked the owner the reason. The owner of the hut said: “Last time, you were on your way to fight a battle. I did not want to put down your spirit. Now this time, you are on your return trip after winning a battle, I can put my full talent forward and I do not let you win on the Chess board….”
The moral of the story A real gentleman Winner
The real Winner is always the “best”, but one doesn’t have to be the No. 1 always, he must have a heart (room) for the other person to feel he’s the best.
The real Winner can always win, but he senses the importance of when to win.
Isn’t Life is the same???
