As protests in Hong Kong intensify over a proposed law that would allow for the extradition of prisoners to China, an inside source tells the news site Boxun that Chinese President Xi Jinping is considering sending in the People's Liberation Army (PLA) to crush dissent, potentially repeating the bloody carnage seen in Tiananmen Square 30 years ago.

On Tuesday (June 11), Boxun cited a source as saying that after Sunday's march organized by Civil Human Rights Front in Hong Kong to protest the proposed extradition law drew one million protestors, leadership in Beijing became nervous. Xi, who had just finished a trip to Russia, reportedly listened intently to the comprehensive assessment of the core think tank and his team of advisors in Zhongnanhai, the central headquarters for the Communist Party of China and the State Council of China.

For the first time, Xi was heard saying, "The situation in Hong Kong is in danger of getting out of control," according to a source familiar with the situation in Zhongnanhai. The source said that the PLA's Southern Theater Command and Hong Kong Garrison are awaiting orders and prepared to fully respond to all possible scenarios that may arise in Hong Kong.

What is a million coffins to China?

The stupid opposition inflated their matching numbers any ways. And even if 1 million were there IT IS A MINORITY in HK's 6.5 million Population, majority pro-Beijing as the seats ELECTED in Legislative Council proved. It is definitely a NEGLIGIBLE AMOUNT of MINUTE MINORITY, in Chinese population of 1.3 Billion.

Hence they need to be shot and left laid on the road without ambulance.

"Bag bomb" = "sandbag bomb"! Non-fatal riot bombs are used to disperse people

Military and Military Center / Comprehensive Report

The Hong Kong Legislative Council held a second reading debate on the amendment of the Fugitive Offenders Ordinance on the 12th. However, the Athlon Squad confronted the demonstrators at 3:30 pm. The demonstrators rushed into the Legislative Council and the police launched non-lethal. Bags were fired and tear gas was released to disperse the demonstrators. In fact, the "bag bomb" is also known as the "sandbag bomb". The warhead is a bag of lead sand, which is a softer non-lethal anti-riot bomb.

It is understood that the full-bomb length of the bag is 65mm, and the full-bomb mass is 48g. It is usually installed on the 97-type shotgun. It is mainly used to disperse the riots within 5 to 30 meters. It can also be used to crack the suspect within 15 meters. people. The warhead is composed of lead sand wrapped in a cloth bag. Due to the large contact surface, the specific kinetic energy acting on the target is reduced, which greatly reduces the serious damage to the target at a close distance, but most of the bullets are bruised and can cause Muscle tears, such as bullets in the eyes, can also cause blindness.

Hong Kong police use tear gas on protesters as tensions flare over China extradition bill

ABC NEWS
Hong Kong police have fired tear gas and rubber bullets at protesters trying to storm the city's legislature after tens of thousands of demonstrators rallied against a contentious extradition bill.

Key points:
Protesters earlier blocked parliament's entry, forcing debate of the bill to be delayed
Opponents say the bill undermines freedoms guaranteed to the former British colony
One million joined protests on Sunday but Hong Kong authorities have vowed to press on
It came after Hong Kong officials called on protesters to leave the area where huge crowds have been surrounding government headquarters, blocking the entrance to the legislative council and delaying a debate on the proposal.

The second reading of the bill that would allow suspects to face trials in mainland China was due Wednesday.

Protesters and police clashed intermittently in running battles outside the city's legislature, as the peaceful rally descended into violent chaos.

Hong Kong's police commissioner, Stephen Lo Wai-chung, said officers used batons, pepper spray, beanbag rounds, rubber bullets, water hoses and tear gas against the demonstrators after a large group of masked protesters charged on to roads surrounding the headquarters and started throwing objects, including metal barriers, at police.

Earlier, protesters hurled traffic cones and plastic bottles, some charging police with umbrellas.

According to Mr Lo, several people, including police officers, have been injured in the situation, which he described as a riot.

Mr Lo appealed for protesters to leave the area, saying: "This is very dangerous action that could kill someone."

Protesters had been gathered in and around Lung Wo Road, an important east-west artery near the offices of Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam, for most of the day as hundreds of riot police warned them not to advance.

The protesters, most of them young people dressed in black, erected barricades as they prepared for an extended occupation of the area, in scenes reminiscent of pro-democracy "Occupy" protests that rocked the city in 2014.

"We won't leave till they scrap the law," said one young man wearing a black mask and gloves.

"Carrie Lam has underestimated us. We won't let her get away with this."

Embattled leader Ms Lam has insisted she would press ahead with the controversial legislation despite deep concerns in the Asian financial hub, including among business leaders, that it could undermine freedoms and investor confidence, and erode its competitive advantages.

Opposition to the bill on Sunday triggered Hong Kong's biggest political demonstration since its handover from British to Chinese rule in 1997.

The bill was due for a second round of debate in Hong Kong's 70-seat Legislative Council, which is controlled by a pro-Beijing majority.

The Government said debate on the bill that was due to take place in the city's 70-seat Legislative Council would be delayed until further notice.

The legislature is controlled by a pro-Beijing majority.

Human rights groups have repeatedly said the law should not go ahead due to the alleged use of torture, arbitrary detentions and forced confessions in China, where courts are controlled by the Communist Party.

China has denied accusations that it tramples on human rights.

Ms Lam has sought to soothe public concerns and said her administration was creating additional amendments to the bill, including safeguarding human rights.

Businesses across the city went on strike on Wednesday in protest against the bill, while teachers and students also walked out and transport go-slows were in place.

HSBC and Standard Chartered banks, in addition to the Big Four accounting firms, had all agreed to flexible work arrangements for staff, Hong Kong media reported.

The Catholic and Protestant churches in Hong Kong both also spoke out against the bill.

In addition to the snowballing backlash, Sunday's protest — which organisers said saw more than a million people take to the streets — could also raise questions about Ms Lam's ability to govern effectively.

Many of the protesters defied police calls to retreat and passed provisions, including medical supplies, goggles, water and food among each other.

Opposition politician Hui Chi-fung said he did not expect a repeat of the 2014 protests but highlighted anger in Hong Kong toward what many people in the city see as increasing efforts by Beijing to control the city and stifle its democracy.

"I don't consider today's protest an Occupy movement," he said.

"Young people here in the crowd are here only to voice out their anger at the Government forcing to pass the extradition bill."

AP: KIN CHEUNG
In response to the protests, the United Kingdom has urged Hong Kong's Government to "pause and reflect" on the extradition bill.

UK Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt urged the former British colony to "listen to the concerns of its people" and the international community.

"It is essential that the authorities engage in meaningful dialogue and take steps to preserve Hong Kong's rights and freedoms and high degree of autonomy, which underpin its international reputation," Mr Hunt said.

Britain handed Hong Kong back to China 22 years ago under a "one-country, two-systems" formula, with guarantees that its autonomy and freedoms, including an independent justice system, would be protected.

However, many accuse China of extensive meddling since then, including obstruction of democratic reforms, interference with local elections and of being behind the disappearance of five Hong Kong-based booksellers, starting in 2015, who specialised in works critical of Chinese leaders.

Beijing rejects those accusations and Chinese media this week said "foreign forces" were trying to damage China by creating chaos over the extradition bill.

[on.cc East Network News] In the face of the mob attacking the defense outside the Legislative Council, the police continued to increase their force in the afternoon, using thundering guns, pepper sprays, hand-throwing tear gas, tears and other weapons, and widely used commonly known as " The new equipment of the "Pepper Ball" gun, the guns are actually "playing riots." It is understood that the police have been using non-lethal weapons so far, and will not penetrate the human body, but the impact is not weak, and the shots are also not hurt.

After the riots in Mong Kok, the Police introduced a new type of equipment known as the "Pepper Ball". It was launched by a powder gun. It was also equipped in the "Occupy Western Loop" clearance operation earlier. However, it has not been used. It is widely used this time. . The tear gas launcher on the gun is powered by compressed gas.

As for the Thunder shotgun (12 Gauge Remington 870), you can play a shotgun, a Birdshot, a more deadly deer 00 Buckshot, or a Non-lethal Rounds, such as a rubber bullet (Rubber). Bullet) and Bean Bag Shot/ Sock Round. This time, the police fired rubber bullets. On the one hand, they could hit the target in the middle distance, stop the mob action, protect the frontline personnel, and reduce the damage suffered by the target person. According to people familiar with firearms, since the bullet casing is transparent and white, it is believed that the police use rubber bullets. If the bullet casing is red, it is a live ammunition.

The police's weapons also include the Fadru's half-caliber riot gun (37/38mm Federal Riot Gun), which is also known as the "big mouth gun". It can also play non-fatal ammunition, such as launching tear gas, mainly to the sky, so that many airborne tears are released. The bullets of the smoke, the tears will be finer, and it will feel like a burn when exposed to sweaty skin. The tear gas is fired by a Fadru-inch half-caliber large-mouth gun with an effective range of 50 to 75 meters.

Demonstrators were subdued by a number of police officers. The Athlon Squadron then proceeded to Harcourt Road near Hoi Fu Centre and repeatedly fired tear gas at Xia Wei Road and Tim Mei Road.

The crowd gathered in Xia Yu Road, the riot police pushed forward, raised the black flag warnings many times, and the tear gas bombs were all dispelled by the demonstrators. The two sides once confronted each other.

Afterwards, the police again forced the evacuation of Harcourt Road before 6 pm. The public retreated to Central and Admiralty Street. During the period, many people were subdued by police officers and walked to some demonstrators in Queensway. Tied up the iron horse and re-arranged, there are also a lot of bricks in the nearby footpath.

Its time to sacrifice some Hongkies for the greater good of the territory. Move in PLA! Lol

Trump respects strong man. If Xi sends in PLA to squash the protest, Trump will kowtow to Xi. Xi has everything to gain and nothing to lose. A few dead bodies will scare the hell out of the hongkees. And the few hundred thousands of expats will run road. Then Hong Kong will be Great Again under PRC's rule. UK and US will do nothing.

Let the tanks roll now.
