will the nation mourn for lau lee next year?

you think these foreign investors are some good Samaritans doing charity work in spore huh? of course, there must something good for them in return then they come mah...use your common sense...tsk...tsk...:D

i agree that foreign investors are here primarily to make money and not to do charitable works to any singaporeans. they basically here to exploit and not for the purpose to better lives here.

how many think that the paps are primarily for themselves first and exploiting us to make it happen for them? it's a clear line drawn here: they vs us.

The stock market did not respond to our election results but to world markets.
And if indeed PAP is kicked out of govt, the market will dive for sure, no doubt about it.
If you don't believe me, go ask any stock broker.

You continue to display remarkable political naivity. Sure, the market will dive initially upon such an event. But it won't be a sustained one and it will soon recover once the realisation sets in that S'pore will be on the right democratic path with the disappearance of LKY and the PAP, and the long term prospects get brighter.

it's Qing Ming Festival now which is a period to visit cemeteries or temple colloseum to pray to our ancestors.

just wondering, would lau lee be mourned next year? hardly hear anything about him. is he due to hand in i/c?

I think it will coincide with the COE hitting $100K ...time to retire the old car..becos not worth renewing prevailing COE for older piece of crap

one thing for sure, lau lee was bought over by the newer pap generation of avarice. that's why 2 IRs was built. during his reign, none of this would have happened.

i ve a very uneasy feeling that vices would be leegalised and proliferate openly n leegally given that so many of such horny cases have been brought into light.

does this signal the beginning to the end of singapore or the gradual deterioration of the state and the citizens?

It has been said that in the USA, it does not matter a bit to the share market or the health of the economy when there is a change of govt, except for a short period of adjustment to digest the news and the captains of industry then continue with their work of making money independent of the govt. That is where there is democracy. It is only in a non-democratic country that a change at the top becomes a big issue, a matter of life and death.
