Military analysts have expressed concern over the built up of naval forces from USA, UK and from EU in the South China Sea in response to China's claim over several islands there. It is also being provocative towards Taiwan and Philippines. A few ASEAN countries are also challenging China over claims of islands there.

This gradual build up of military assets by USA and UK is significant in response to China intention to attack Taiwan. Will SG be asked to join in the multi-national force, especially if supported by UN?

SG managed to get some countries like USA, OZ, for our military training but not from China. With a hugh land mass, China could have earned millions if it allow our warriors to train there. Or maybe it does not trust SG?
