Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong attending the wedding of Ismail Ibrahim and Khaleeda Bustaman on Saturday (Nov 8) reflects the "close friendship and warm ties" between Singapore and Johor, says the Prime Minister's Office.
SINGAPORE: Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his wife, Ho Ching, will visit Johor on Saturday (Nov 8) to attend the wedding of Ismail Ibrahim and Khaleeda Bustaman.
Prime Minister Lee and Mrs Lee were invited to attend the wedding by the Sultan Ibrahim Almarhum Sultan Iskandar and Raja Zarith Sofiah, and they will attend the royal wedding ceremony followed by the royal banquet.
Mr Lee's visit reflects the close friendship and warm ties between Singapore and Johor, the Prime Minister's Office press release stated.
