with those commercially available creams and other polishers? I know if u polish them they will look better, but will they actually spoil if u don't?

thanks for any expert advice

It depends on the leather's grade/quality/condition when you first purchased the item. However all leather products slowly age (or oxidize) and will lose its lustre and suppleness over time. Some might even "crack." Those creams do help by giving it a protetive layer (moisture is bad for leather) and I believe prevent mould growth. It does extend the product's life.

Cheers!

If you leave them in the boxes for ... like 10 years they become moldy

BTW .. judging from your nick, are you a meat eater?

if you do not use leather product and being animal loving, you will not have such inconveniences on the things that you owned.
