GE 2006, Ms Sylvia Lim led a team to contest Aljunied GRC, she won nearly 45% !
Had not the Gomez saga, Aljunied GRC could have fallen by a whisker !
Gomez saga was like big agenda to PAP in 2006 GE, every PAP minister was talking about it, and they won landslide !
Did not Ah george and Ah hwa realise the Ajunied ground was changing in 2006 ? How come they did not talk about transforming in 2006 , and let the 5-year resentment takes it toll ?
GE 2011, the boundary was shifted , Hougang- ave 8 mostly WP voters were carved to AMK GRC to probably ensure a win !
But it did not happen!
Now that Ah george and Ah Hwa are voted out, they then start to suggest their PAP needs to transform ?
So if they are voted in, will the word “ Transform” still relevant ?
Anyway, these PAP guys should be millionaires if not billionaires , so what is resentment means to PAP ?
Think about it, did we ever hear Ah george and Ah Hwa debate fiercely at parliament for the voters when they were MPs ?
You draw your conclusions whether these people are gentlemen or not ?
Aljunied voters do the right thing , they want a voice , and Workers party has won with great dignity !
The winning margin could have drifted further like 65% for WP and 35% for PAP, but the threats certainly had done a great deal !
A win is a win, PAP could be an oppo party after next GE 2016!
