<!-- story content : start --> THE widow of the bridegroom found dead outside the Hilton Singapore hours after their wedding banquet last month was taken to Tan Tock Seng Hospital on Tuesday morning with cuts to both her wrists. Police said they received a call at about 9.30am informing them that Ms Kerin Peh, 27, had been found injured at a flat at Block 30, Balam Road, where her parents-in-law live. They have classified the case as an attempted suicide. The Singapore Civil Defence Force received a call from one of Ms Peh's two sisters who were at the flat. Paramedics who arrived shortly after found her unconscious on a bed in one of the rooms. Some unidentified pills were also found beside her. Neighbours told The Straits Times that they saw three police officers entering the flat on Tuesday morning.

Attempted suicide is a criminal offence. Besides she must contribute money to court, she must also white wash her ass to squat in jail.

THE widow of bridegroom Vernon Leong, who mysteriously fell to his death from the Hilton Hotel on the night of his wedding last November, died early Monday. Ms Kerin Peh, 27, is believed to have jumped from the block where her family lives at Hougang Ave 8. Paramedics who arrived at the scene around 2am, pronounced her dead.

Last December, she also tried to take her life by slashing her wrists at the home of her parents-in-law in Balam Road. Friends of the couple said then that Ms Peh had been an emotional wreck after her husband's death, and family and friends had had to keep close watch over her.

Month's after hubby's fatal fall, wife falls to her death

This is as tragic as a love story can get.

Mr Vernon Leong Jun Wei, 31, mysteriously fell to his death at the Hilton Singapore on Nov 4 last year, just hours after celebrating his union with Ms Kerin Peh Li Ling with a banquet at the hotel.

Perhaps the pain of losing him was too much to bear. Perhaps his unexplained death became a tipping point.

Around 2am on Monday, Ms Peh, 28, was found dead at the foot of Block 540, Hougang Street 51.

It was exactly 35 weeks after her husband had plunged to his death.

Ms Peh had moved back to live with her parents in their unit on the fifth storey of the block.

It is believed that she had fallen from the sixth storey, while her family was asleep.

The New Paper understands that just before she fell, Ms Peh's sister, 30, had seen her sitting on the sofa in the living room staring into space.

The sister did not think anything was amiss, and went to bed.

But not long after that, she was woken by some noises. She went to her sister’s room, but found her missing.

She then rushed downstairs to check and found her sister in a pool of blood. Her white slippers were found 2m from her body.

Ms Peh, the second of three sisters, had died on the spot.

Ms Peh's neighbours said her friends visited her regularly in the evenings and on weekends.​

She went to the Cheng Hong Siang Tng temple to pay her respects to the man who was her husband for less than a day.​
