why wasn't lau lee there to welcome the dragon year?

so it's the dragon this year and a very wet water dragon year.

couldn't help to notice lau lee wasn't there with his GRC gang to celebrate the occasion at chinatown last nite. why was he absent? was he also absent in last year cny eve celebratione event?

it is customary that mp meets the wards during such occasion. if MIA, then something's must not be very usual.
