1) No Political party able to manage GIC & GLC
2) Not easy to control Singapore Economy
3) Not easy to control Singapore Security

It's not easy to manage. In fact, economies are virtually impossible to manage. A competent government wouldn't endeavour to "manage" an economy. Instead, it would step aside and let the markets run its course, intervening only when need be, as a regulator rather than a manager.
