Why they let us know someone is injured?

But they refused to let us know what was the injury about? What purpose does it serve?

SINGAPORE: A 37-year-old man was found injured at Blk 23, Hougang Avenue 3, on Thursday (Feb 25).

The Singapore Police Force confirmed that it received a call for help at about 2.14am from a passerby, and found the injured man at the scene upon arrival.

It conveyed the man to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and the man was pronounced dead at 3.28am.

The authorities declined to reveal further information on the injuries suffered by the man, and investigations are ongoing.
