Scared of ghosts too. During BMT, my platoon mate stuck a piece of yellow paper - a Taoist talisman on the front of his helmet during night tactical movement at Mandai. He told us his mother said it would help protect him from evil spirits. It must've worked. His talisman not only protected him, but the entire platoon. We all made is back to camp safely.
