I felt so turnoff after reading the news of a man who was arrested for offering to buy upskirt videos of female students. The man had posted on Carousell and Locanto offering to purchase upskirt videos of female students. His action is really sick especially his targets are female students who are still minors.

Men who has an interest in taking upskirt videos of innocent women seemed to be trending in Singapore with many of the men being arrested by the police.

However, the sentencing of the men who were caught doesn’t seems to deter the act. Moreover, i discovered some websites that have specific thread for netizens to contribute their upskirt photos or videos. There is even a new website that cultivates such upskirt cultural for like-minded individuals. These netizens who shared their works will be awarded with points.

This brings us back to the recent sentencing of the men. Is the arrest of these men being only the tip of the iceberg? There are many other men that are doing the same act without getting caught.

The websites should stop all these nonsense and do better moderation. The girls especially students in Singapore will be vulnerable if this acts does not stop.

2 S'POREAN MEN JAILED IN ABU DHABI FOR DRESSING IN WOMEN'S CLOTHING

Freelance fashion photographer Muhammad Fadli Bin Abdul Rahman, 26, and his friend, Nur Qistina Fitriah Ibrahim, 37, a transgender Singaporean who has not undergone a sex-change operation, were arrested in Abu Dhabi for wearing women's clothes.
Mr Fadli and Nur had visited Abu Dhabi on 8 August but were arrested a day later at a shopping mall the next day. A court document accused the duo of wearing women's clothes in public and for behaving indecently.

Crossdressing, homosexuality and transgenderism are illegal in the UAE.

This is not the first time the Singaporeans have traveled to Abu Dhabi, which is why family members were left shocked by the arrests.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan has been in contact with the family of the arrested men and is providing consular support to the jailed SIngaporeans.

Local activist, Vanessa Ho, who lived with Mr Fadli in the same apartment, says she is trying to get a lawyer in Abu Dhabi to represent the 2 men.

This is due to the harmful effect of porn and it is easily available with a click of the mouse.
