You brought up a major blind spot in SG's education system.

With kids being forced fed with an ever more stressful syllabus and lose time to play with other kids as they grow, they will never learn how to be people, but just computers.

And thus the need for FTs will be evermore, so long as our children are forced from young not to think for themselves and feed obligated to perform for an inherently oppressive system.

ya ...this would adversely impact the EQ portion of the education.....the communication and interpersonal skills.

These soft skills are as important as their hard skills....maybe even more so.

With kids being forced fed with an ever more stressful syllabus and lose time to play with other kids as they grow, they will never learn how to be people, but just computers.

i doubt if you can teach wisdom......you teach facts and teach the person to think. Then he gets knowledge. When he learns how to apply knowledge

wisely then he has wisdom.

well said bro ...too bad some ppl dont know it ;)

There's no incentive for intelligence in Singapore. Sinkies are contented with being dumb parasites of the technology created by "lazy ang mohs".

the 'less educated' guys can have more wisdom than the top academically educated guys . Wisdom and judgement can be learnt anywhere

and especially in the streets. Right bro?
