It not about platform vs platform but the entire system vs system . Even with F16A, RSAF would still be much better than any regional airforce for the fact that they are the only one with experience in AWAC.

Malaysia or Indonesia just need to have 2000 MLRS each in Johor and Batam respectively, buried in bunkers or mobile platforms and wait to see how more powerful the fucking island of Lee Kuan Yew Corporation can become with F35s and 8 million population. A version: Max out range, plus an fit almost everything

C version: tailhook, larger wing span, just a bit longer range than A. Refuels with probe and drogue, much easier

B version: May not be able to function in hot climates (haha Singapore), less no of weapons on board, smaller range,
