IT IS one jab, but prices vary.
Private clinics that offer the vaccine against the Influenza A (H1N1) virus have mostly stuck to charging patients between $30 and $32 for each dose.
But some clinics have added a consultation fee to the bill, raising prices to as much as $60.
A check with over 20 private clinics revealed that Healthway Medical Group offers one of the most competitive prices for the vaccine at $26 (excluding GST).
Most clinics waive the consultation fee for patients who do not need in-depth consultation.
However, at least two clinics charge at least $60, which includes a doctor's consultation fee.
