Why do smart people have to listen to stupid people?

The whole idea of electing capable and knowledgeable people to govern is so they can make smart decisions on behalf of those with lower intellect who are unable to comprehend complex issues.

Let's face it ...the majority of people don't have the time or interest to understand the global issues. They vote on the bread and butter issues. That's how the PAP have remained in power for decades. But now the bread and butter issues are haunting them as they are failing in that area.

The PAP bunch is not smart. If you think they are, then you should be here sucking up to them since you believe these 'smart' people will serve you well.
