Election in first world countries always got debates between candidates.

Why no debates in first world sinkapore? Are the PAP politicians really that lousy that they can't defend their policies publicly?

Also, why the leader of PAP cannot impromptu questions? Questions must be submitted ahead of time.

If we are a first world country, then our politicians must be subjected to the same rigour as that in first world democracies.

Make it a big issue of PAP politicians being unwilling or incapable of public debate on policies.

If PAP is convinced that they can emerge winners from such public debates, it would have been implemented donkey years ago. Why waste such an opportunity to demolish and thrash the opposition? The answer is simple. They know they won't win in public debates. They need you to submit questions to them beforehand to allow their civil servants to search for the most appropriate answers.

In the LKY vs Francis Seow debate, LKY suffered many bruises. When GCT and LHL took on JBJ and CST, Woody and Pinky suffered multiple fractures to their reputation.
