Why no medal tally in YOG official site.

Relax. Just first couple of days. Anyway, if you expect many medals from Singaopore, you should report to IMH and collect medication.

Very badly done website. Slow and useless YOG website.

Was surfing the singapore2010 website a few mins ago and also couldn't find the medal tally. Plenty of useless links though...

As usual, its good for show with the fanfare but nothing useful inside.

Results and medal tally should be on the fore front of any major games website; usually. perhaps uniquely singapore again.

Sorry to disappoint you guys but the omission is by design, not default. One of the policies formulated by IOC was for the tally NOT to be officially published. This is meant to de-emphasize the inter-country aspect of the competition. This would also allow smaller countries to form teams with other countries.

I'm not a big fan of the YOG either, but let's not bark up the wrong tree.

Beijing Olyimpic game web is really excellent.
Can trace every single athelete name. And update promtply as medal added.
KNN YOG web worst than some local school website.

the YOG channels are terrible too. like rojak.
no tv programme schedule or guide. dont know if it is "live" or recorded. and I just saw certain game just keep repeating

They should increase the budget to 500 Mil

So sucky standard at 300 mil

Those religiously watches YOG & doesn't go to work, should join them also at IMH; who knows after the YOG many of the younger ones, stressed from force labour, maybe having session there.

YOG is supposed to be for the youths, but the organizers name the events "men's" & "women's". i think if kids & teens r the ones involved.... they should be named "boys" or "girls". the YOG officials r very good at plagiarizing. clearly a case of copying wholesale, without common sense.

why no medal tally? maybe they afraid to show the number of participating countries? maybe they're shy to show the world that host country incapable of snapping up as many medals as the big guns? maybe they shy to show the world that our medals r earned by foreign imports & not local born & raised talents?

This whole YOG fracas which cost a whopping $387 million is a total waste of money ..... just look at the standard of the participants .....:(
