Why is China (PRC) so obsessed with Taiwan (ROC)?

Taiwan has its own passport, its own currency, its own system of government, its own military. Taiwan is an independent, sovereign country. Just because China bribed the international organizations (WHO, WTO, IOC etc) into not acknowledging this doesn't mean it's not true.

Taiwan had the proper handover-takeover from the Qing dynasty. The CCP were Soviet-funded insurgents, later aided by godless Jewish bankers. Stupid people don't learn real history, prefer to eat up the bullshit meant for the brainwashed Tiongs behind the Great Firewall.
