some of the staples served are xiao long bao and shao bin. there are many other's beijing dim sum and xiao cai.

frankly, for those who haven't tried it before, it's ok for value for money. but for me, once would be enough. the foods are so so only and are rather on the oily side.

nothing really fantastic but for the price, it's still quite affordably economical.

tung lok caters for istana functions as well.....never been to their restaurants as i cant afford it and do not know where and which....would love to try sometime in the future

i think the reasons for the repetitive losses could be an over exaggeration. the boss overspent on too detailed things and maybe opening too many branches. like vivian said: "you wanna ve your meal in hawker centres or restaurants?"

the answer is obvious with this type of economic situation.

has anyone tried their RED KITCHEN or was it already closed ?

CHARMING GARDEN - another of their branch at NOVOTEL ORCHID INN at dunearn road has very good chefs there. i held my wedding dinner there and paid a well-worth 5 figures.

i m amazed how good their peking duck in egg crepe dipped in their special sauce could be. wow!! the taste still lingers in my mouth until now. hmm....perhaps this weekend dinner would be there.
