Seng Han Thong has never been held in high regards. I recall during the Tang LH saga, this joker was one of the "fellow chinese-ed" who came out to discredit Tang. I guess he worked his way up through scoring cheap political points otherwise the right job for him would be an RC running dog.

Now, putting that aside... seriously... the remark he made is no big deal. What if he said "the PR said the Chinese workers could not converse well in English"? The over-reaction is laughable but even more amusing are the hoardes of parrots that join in the condemnation on a trivial matter. Wait a minute... was there an Indian MP who came out to condemn him?... hmmm... perhaps some people are just over-sensitive

Strokehome Syndrome lah...Singaporeans are very good for this sort of stroking syndrome.Mr Seng, my humble advice to you.Please lah.
