It is MORE than some minor intermittent problems with regards to the circle line.Just some minor intermittent problems. It's nothing to get excited about.
1. Trains on the circle line are moving at a snail's pace for the past 5 days and still counting, movement is slow and in increment jerks with a burning smell which is worrying as a fire could break out anytime. Imagine the panic in a sardine packed train on fire inside an underground tunnel in a stalled train.
2. The circle line is newer than the EW and NS lines.
3. The engineers have absolutely no idea on what is causing it and therefore have NO SOLUTIONS.
4. Travelling time schedules for workers are thrown into disarray as there is no way to predict journey times with certainty.
