The Circle Line is in deep trouble. MOT, LTA, SMRT and the French experts dont know what's the problem and where to start the trouble shooting.

Will more MRT lines get into trouble too? Will SMRT face more problems?

Why is KBW so quick to claim glory but so quiet in times of trouble when we need a steady hand to steer the ship?

Just some minor intermittent problems. It's nothing to get excited about.

Singaporeans are hoping that you are right and that the Circle Line's problem is a minor one. But that's not the issue.

The issue is KBW was quick to claim glory when NSL was 100 days trouble free and he had a big press conference to take glory.

Isnt it time now for him to have a press conference to reassure Circle Line users that the 5day consecutive and same problem is under control?

Doesnt KBW and the PAP see that they cant have the cake and eat it?

If you want to be quick to claim glory, you must be willing to be quick to admit mistakes

PAP existed to be glorified, not to be blamed. 70% approved such status and so KBW naturally dissappeared out of the limelight if bad things happened under his care, but he will emerge victorious and claim credit when other people solved the problems. That is how the whole Sinapore system works, and with the help of msm keeping low profile of PAP bad vibes, life goes on as usual.

They are planning to open more MRT stations.

How do they know if these new stations will work if the current ones have so many problems:confused:
Don't forget that other than the signalling problems, they still haven't resolved the cracked trains that was returned to China.

Ms. Saw did a terrible job of maintaining the system, How do we know that whoever they put in charge of SMRT will do any better:confused:

It seems that the PAP has plenty of inexperienced paper generals but very few with any practical experience ;)

Yes, you are right. This is pap's modus operandi and KBW is no better than his leader.

But Singaporeans have the power in our hands and we pay them their salaries.

Singaporeans must keep harping on their silence when problems need their presence and assurance

MRT problems are all pap induced..
1. Appointing cronies into positions of authority when they are not qualified
2. Neglecting to maintain systems and update softwares
3. Failing to update signalling system that is 25yrs old
4. Questionable tendering system and award of tenders
5. Silence to hide or deceive commuters of perennial mrt problems

we need MPs to question the govt to hold them responsible so that mrt systems dont fail us

you (meaning the 70%) gave them carte blanche -so what do we expect?

They messed up ,so who is able to do anything about it?

I want to see how much sufferings, pain, inconvenience, abuse and death can people take before they take action.

I am not sure if anyone grasps the scale of our problem. If money isn't an issue, unlike in many other countries, and problems are still accumulating, we are really faced with incompetence or negligence on a monumental scale. These guys keep harping on AHTC. Despite their accounting issues, they are still operating and delivering services.
The same cannot be said of the NEA, MOH, LTA, SMRT, MCYS and several more, who are failing in things that are crucial. One wonders what diversionary tactic will be used to deflect attention. When the leadership spends more time on tactics than strategy, we should really worry.

It is lovely to know of your faith in the system, if you are travelling on the circle line, "IF"...IT GOES INTO "ONE INFINITE LOOP"...& the software engineers or?....is till figuring out on how to stop the train, without suddenly turning off the power..which you know, will suddenly.....

Remember, what these people have been chanting all the time ' DON'T PANIC'.....it is some intermittent problems.....nothing, nothing to get excited about...nothing!

there's no point making noise for now. when they find the root cause and have a solution at hand, they can blow their horns all they want. nothing wrong with being quiet. an electrical issue that is knocking trains out of service at bart is still unresolved after almost a year, and no one not even some of the best industry experts know what the shit is going on. as for the circle line, the lta will figure it out in due time.

Nothing is perfect. The space shuttle blew up, planes fall from the sky, trains derail, hospitals administer the wrong drugs, cars hit pedestrians, cyclists run over old ladies etc.

Just keep your fingers crossed and hope for the best. If it is time to meet your maker there is nothing much anyone can do. We are all mortal.

not some shit caused by chinks construction , equipment , trains ?
no chinks involved in CIrcle Line ?

even if chinese contractors caused the problem, it is still MOT, LTA and SMRT's fault as they selected and approved the contractors.

KBW and MOT cant absolve itself of responsibilities in the current Circle Line problems
