<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- more than 4 paragraphs -->WHY is there inconsistent pricing of tickets to soccer matches by the Football Association of Singapore (FAS)?
The ticket prices for the National Day Challenge match between Singapore and China tonight are unacceptable.
I remember some time back, during the AFF Suzuki Cup, also held at the National Stadium, the tickets were priced at only around $6 for gallery seating. It was an official match, not a friendly.
Tonight's match is a "grade" lower than the AFF Suzuki Cup, so why is the price higher? Isn't this an inconsistency in ticket pricing?
Coaches from both sides may not even play a full squad in a friendly. So why must we pay more for a friendly compared to an official tournament like the AFF Suzuki Cup?
There should be a hierarchy in terms of pricing. Adult gallery seating prices for friendy matches should be set at less than $10 per ticket. For tournaments, prices can be slightly higher at around $10.
Wouldn't this be a fairer ticket pricing system?
I hope the Singapore Sports Council and the FAS can look into this.

There will be more China supporters than S'poreans at the stadium !!
