honestly, when u read or hear employers that give --> "Sporeans dun wan to do..".. I rarely believe them nowadays.. last time.. maybe.. but not now when there are so many feedback from PMEs and even fresh grads who can't secure jobs.
The shortcut is to employ foreigners.. it's the fastest.. and at most times.. the cheapest alternative.
But did the employers and biz owners actually look into WHY the job does not appeal to SG locals?
If i hear or read them say "not of high status", i feel like slapping them.
Give real figures on how many gave that response, and also be transparent on the figures of those who don't want to do the job, why, and also on those who did.. but left.
Since the gahmen likes to do and show statistics so much.. let's go down this road and ask them for REAL HARD FACTS!
I bet wif u, 99% will not dare disclose the true picture.. cos most jus wan to save on hiring costs.. and jus skip over the local and hire the foreigner.. and sometimes can even "force" the foreigner to further wage cuts.

My friend related to me his story.He registered with CDC for employment assistance.The CDC Career Consultant (High sounding name but actually only an ordinary civil servant) interviewed him and stated firmly that he must attend interview appointments when contacted and he must stay in employment with the employer /company for at least 3 months.The Career Consultant gave him a false impression and also false hope that there are many job vacancies waiting for him.After the interview,no one from CDC ever contacted him again.But after 6 months out of the blue
one night the Career Consultant contacted him to find out whether he has found a job .If he has found a job,any job,whether full-time or part-time,the Career Consultant will close his file,one jobless digit deleted.My friend told the Career Consultant :"What u mean I have found a job ? All the while I have waiting for your call and u have not arranged for any interview appointments as promised to me !" From that day onwards,he vowed that he would never contact CDC or any Govt Agency for job assistance.
Is this how CDC or Govt Agency sell out the citizens of singapore in times of their need ???
And we have this Doughlas Fool proclaiming that although he is willing to pay $3K he could not find a cleaner .This farking braggart liar is lying though his teeth and we all know that he is telling lies to the media for free publicity of his company.He didn't tell the truth of the scope of work :12 hrs per day,6 day-week ,1st person to open the door,last person to close the door,do housing chores at the boss' house,feed the boss' dog,on standby 24 hours a day even on a rest day,even suck the dick of the boss Doughlas Fool as and when required.........................etc.And don't forget,even if Doughlas Fool employ u today,he can sack u next week and give the reason that your performance is poor.
Doughlas Fool is the typical Singapore Employer in Singapore i.e.Most Singapore Employers are nasty bastards.
