I'm also working on a Cost of Living/Education by city/country, namely from India, China and Philippines.
They are producing E/S passes graduates at much lower cost to Singaporeans
Example only; If Singaporeans Living and Education costs, from birth till Working Adult is @SGD 250,000 and the FTs @ SGD50,000
(This does not include the X amount of NS cycle for males sgreans!)
How long/fast can we expect back our investments? With a Starting Pay (Gross Monthly) of SGD 2500 for a fresh graduate,
Singaporean ¨C 250,000/2500 = 100 months or 8.3 years
FTs ¨C 50,000/2500 = 20 months or 1.6 years
I hope to tell from the Stats why the FTs are willing to accept such low pay and anything more is a financial windfall for THEM!
As for us? If in our life time we don¡¯t make 2 times more of the starting pay, it will be financial ruin for Singaporeans!
How hard we and our parents had to work to put us thru the system, now all down the drain? asking us to fight against this low cost FT?
The Government is robbing us blind and bankrupting our future too, I hope the stats will show you the TRUTH!
