why does sgp need me to apply for ENTRY PERMIT for my PRC friends?

i find this rather redundant.

the stack of application forms given is really very pissing to fill as it needs to be filled by each individual PRC pals. on top of that, the application forms have to be submitted at least 1 mth prior their visit and only if approved.

why so troublesome?

tot sgp loves polishing balls of PRC and now they implement such inconvenieces.

this is going to be very troublesome. PRC relatives are from ulu places where internet is never heard of. i m at a loss of how to even reply them which is either by formal post or long distance phonecall.

many years back, when we visited china, it was the same pattern except it was darn much simple. just get a "home letter" from PRC relative and you would soon be on your with approved visa.

it's going to be very tedious to explain them in their PRC unique dialect or even mandarin about the requirements stipulated in the forms.
