According to the latest Google transparency report for January to June 2012 (http://www.google.com/transparencyreport/userdatarequests/ ), our regime requested user data on 89 email accounts.

Could our regime be interested in knowing what the opposition members are doing?

I rule out the reasons of money laundering and economic dealings with Iran as the basis for our regime's request.

Money laundering is rampant and taking place in broad daylight as we speak.

use a prc-based account for hanky panky. they don't bother you if you don't post crap about the regime or prc politics. :D

Sedition, On-line casinos, On-line brothels, gang related postings etc.

Counter terrorism. Stupid opposition supporting retards keeps thinking the government likes to spy on they and get paranoid for no reason totally forgetting we are sandwiched between some of the biggest manpower contributors to the terrorist world
